If you‘re a victim of an offender named in a notice of payment into the Victims’ Claims Trust Account, you may be entitled to make a claim against the money awarded to the offender.
Notice of end of process for making and determining victims’ claims
This is the current list of offenders that have been awarded compensation - surnames F-J:
TAKE NOTICE THAT:
Jason George Gregory has received compensation to which the Prisoners’ and Victims’ Claims Act 2005 (PVCA) applies.
Pursuant to Part 2 of the PVCA, compensation awarded to an offender is paid to the Secretary for Justice and, after certain deductions, is put into the Victims’ Claims Trust Account to be held in trust for the offender to enable victims of the offender to make claims against it.
On 9 November 2020, $3,574.28 was paid into the Victims’ Claims Trust Account on behalf of Jason George Gregory.
This money must be held in the Trust Account until paid out in accordance with the PVCA. Any money left after any victims’ claims have been paid will be paid to Jason George Gregory.
ANY PERSON who has been a victim of Jason George Gregory, in respect of an offence for which Jason George Gregory was convicted in a Court of New Zealand, is entitled to make a claim against the money held in the Trust Account on behalf of Jason George Gregory.
Claims by victims are not limited to the amount available in the Trust Account.

TAKE NOTICE that, pursuant to part 2 of the Prisoners’ and Victims’ Claims Act 2005, compensation awarded to Samuel Hanna is required to be paid to the Secretary for Justice, and the surplus after deductions is to be held in Trust on behalf of Samuel Hanna.
AND THAT on 24 September 2020, $6,102.00 was paid into the Victims’ Claims Trust Account on behalf of Samuel Hanna. This money must be held in the Trust Account to enable any victims of Samuel Hanna to make claims against it.

David Ian Hemana has received compensation to which the Prisoners’ and Victims’ Claims Act 2005 (PVCA) applies.
Pursuant to Part 2 of the PVCA, compensation awarded to an offender is paid to the Secretary for Justice and, after certain deductions, is put into the Victims’ Claims Trust Account to be held in trust for the offender to enable victims of the offender to make claims against it.
On 27 November 2020, $17,664.00 was paid into the Victims’ Claims Trust Account on behalf of David Ian Hemana.
This money must be held in the Trust Account until paid out in accordance with the PVCA. Any money left after any victims’ claims have been paid will be paid to David Ian Hemana.
ANY PERSON who has been a victim of David Ian Hemana, in respect of an offence for which David Ian Hemana was convicted in a Court of New Zealand, is entitled to make a claim against the money held in the Trust Account on behalf of David Ian Hemana.
